S. Korea says watching China closely as N. Korean leader visits - Reuters

A senior South Korean official told Reuters on condition of anonymity his government was closely keeping an eye on the developments surrounding China, especially after the reports that the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ahead visited China ahead of a series of historic summits.

The senior South Korean government official noted: “The presidential Blue House is watching things in Beijing very closely, while keeping all possibilities open.”

Bloomberg quoted sources on Monday, citing that Kim visited Beijing, making his first known trip outside North Korea since taking power in 2011.
