US President: Crimea's vote would never be recognized
FXStreet (Bali) - US President Barack Obama spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday following the decision by Crimea to become a Russian state.
According to a White House: "Obama told Putin that the vote would never be recognized by the United States and the international community."
"Obama also emphasized that Russia’s actions were in violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and that, in coordination with our European partners, we are prepared to impose additional costs on Russia for its actions.”
