Gold changes course, retreats sharply from highs
Gold pulled back dramatically, after hitting its highest level in almost two years, as market sentiment switched putting the metal under strong pressure.
Gold fell from a peak of $1,315 an ounce and slid back below $1,300 to a session low of $1,282/oz in recent dealings.
Rumours that the UK referendum could be delayed helped to ease Brexit fears after a pro-EU British lawmaker fatal attack put referendum campaigns on hold.
