USD/CHF eases from 2-year Highs
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The US dollar steadied against the Swiss franc today, retreating from two-year high of 0.9887 levels recorded during the last week.
Currently, the USD/CHF pair is seen trading unchanged at 0.9870 levels, after posting day’s low of 0.9858 levels couple of hours ago. The US dollar eased against the Swiss currency as the greenback cooled off from multi-year peaks. The dollar index, which measures the greenback’s value against six major currencies, retreated slightly from multi-year high of 90.41 levels reached in the last week and trades now at 90.24, down -0.08% on the day.
USD/CHF Levels to consider
To the upside, the next resistance is located at 0.9887 (Dec 23 High) and above which it could extend gains to 0.9898 (Aug 2012 High) levels. To the downside immediate support might be located at 0.98 levels and below that at 0.9782 (Dec 19 Low) levels.
